Mallika is a hybrid variety of mangoes that is born out of combining Neelam and Dasheri varieties of mangoes. It must be noted that this variety is picked up as raw mangoes (green), and then ripened by maintaining them at room temperature. The process of ripening typically takes 2 to 3 weeks. Mallika happens to be a semi - dwarf variety of mango that is from India.
